Volunteer mystery squash

We moved the compost pile around and eventually put it in the new bin.  A few days later we now have volunteer mystery squash.  We will let the grow and see what happens.

We got some of the long beans this year. They did not do so well last year hopefully there is more to come.

Hay!

Our neighbor has cut and bailed the hay in the field behind us.  We will have to be on alert for creachers in the garden now.

Finished jelly.  We still need to work on prfecting jelly.  We always seem to cook it too long and it gets tough.

The recipe said to discard the apples but that seemed like a waste. So we made applesauce.
