We picked a couple of cabbages.  We had three nice heads get eaten completely off.

Garden update August 8 2015

The tomato are doing well this year despite the blight and blossom rot.

The peppers are doing good as well but there is some rot on them as well.

We have one nice pumpkin

and a nice Blue Hubbard but the squash bugs are out of control!

Beans

Our neighbors had more rows of beans that they were not picking anymore so we picked all we could stand

24 lb jade green beans
11 Lb Yellow way
This is on top of the 4 lb of beans we picked from our garden

We will be

Freezing some
Canning some
and giving away a lot
